Smart i-Change (Self-hosted AI LLM Chatbot)

We partnered with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong (ELCHK), supported by the Ping Wo Fund, to develop and upgrade the i-Change platform into a fully self-hosted artificial intelligence large language model (LLM) chatbot system. The solution provides intelligent, empathetic and context-aware support for individuals affected by gambling addiction, available 24/7.

By deploying our self-hosted AI service, the platform runs on the client’s local servers—giving the NGO full control over data, maximising privacy, enhancing security, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations. This setup eliminates reliance on external cloud providers, enabling faster response times and guaranteeing that sensitive user data remains protected at all times—ideal for confidential counselling.

This advanced LLM-powered chatbot delivers natural, human-like interactions with deep contextual understanding, emotional sensitivity and personalised recovery recommendations—far surpassing traditional chatbots.

A backend agent enables real-time session monitoring via a powerful admin console, timely intervention when needed, and seamless handover to human specialists in complex cases.
